BigMa
Olaoluwasunbo Olundegun, fondly called BigMa, is an all round entertainment media practitioner who is a writer, publicist, MC, producer and presenter that started out as a singer. In 2009, she was the first winner of the talent hunt show done in honour of late Jaiye Aboderin called "Jay's Search". This opened more doors for her entertainment-wise.
Following her passion for media, she became a certified broadcaster after completing her course at FRCN in 2011. She then went aheadto score her first radio gig in 2012 at City FM as a co-presenter on the hit show "HipHop Ride with Kshow", and later went on to co-host an independently owned radio show called "TCRS Naija" which aired on Rhythm FM in early 2016. In that same year, 2012, she and a friend got together to launch a pr agency called"PixieDust PR", which worked with upcoming artists, organized events and promoted hospitality spots such as Bheerhugz Cafe, Pub 1, Aramis Lounge to name a few.
In 2015, BigMa decided to start her own boutique PR agency called NEVERLAND PR while still working with existing and new clientele. She has worked with celebrities, such as Eva Alordiah, May7ven, Milli, to name a few; PR wise. On the event front, BigMa has organized and overseen events such as GET NAKED (AIDS Awareness Campaign both in '12 & '14), Word Cafe, KARAOKE WITH THE STARS (which was hosted by Bheerhugz Cafe between '12 & '13), SAB Miller Launch Party (The "What Is M?" Party, Sept 2015), Netflix Launch Party (Dec 2015), Art N Gin (Showcase for arts and sculpture, 2016), just to mention a few.
Recently, BigMa also delved into the production world as in 2016 when she launched her own YouTube talk show called "The BigMa Experience", which she both produces and hosts. She is also a part-time producer at The Sound Box studio in Indigo Space, helping artists find their truth in their music. Adding to her passions, she is the current host for Loud N Proud Live (a monthly live music showcase), and a columnist for DT Now magazine (a bi-weekly publication from Daily Times Nigeria).
